Our History in Digital
The data entry era
In the 1990s, the company operated as Leondata Srl, specializing in data entry services and the manual transcription of data from paper documents to management systems, laying the foundations for modern back office services. The main activities concern the entry and management of large volumes of administrative and tax data. Leondata later became a founding member of the Outsourcing Group Consortium, bringing expertise and know-how in digital data processing.
Optical archiving
During these years, the Consortium transformed into Outsourcing Group Srl and contributed to one of the first major national digitization projects: the optical archiving of financial statements and documents of Italian Chambers of Commerce. Millions of documents are digitized and the first secure digital preservation infrastructures are built. It's one of the most significant moments in the company's history: from data digitization to massive document digitization, laying the foundation for modern document management services.
PEC (Certified Electronic Mail)
The PEC introduces a new way of communicating with legal value, accelerating administrative processes and reducing dependence on paper. It is the beginning of the digital transformation in official communications between companies, professionals and Public Administration.
The start of the PEC activation service for a European certification authority
Outsourcing Group initiates operational management of PEC activations for a leading European certification authority. The team is responsible for data verification, quality control, and activation of PEC boxes, operating on high-volume processes and certified requirements. Over time, the service has evolved towards self-service online portals, with the continuous support of Outsourcing Group in the verification and user assistance phases.
Outsourcing Group begins issuing first digital signatures
After the introduction of digital signatures in Italy in 2010, Outsourcing Group began operating directly in the sector in 2013 as an operating partner of one of Europe's leading certification authorities. The team manages data verification, user identification, certificate issuance and technical assistance on Business Keys, Smart Cards, and remote digital signatures.
SPID and digital identity
With the birth of SPID, which in just a few years becomes the main tool for accessing public and private digital services, the demand for specialized support and assistance is growing. Outsourcing Group starts, from the early stages, the management of SPID activations, dealing with document verification and identity control over high volumes.
GDPR comes into force
The European Data Protection Regulation introduces stringent requirements on security, processes, traceability and information management. Companies must adjust procedures and systems. Outsourcing Group begins a comprehensive adjustment journey, supported by a company specializing in data security and GDPR regulation.
Approval of the Data Act
